The gym at Billingham Forum underwent a
comprehensive refurbishment and extension, carried
out on behalf of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council
and Tees Active. This project entailed a complete
upgrade of the existing fitness suite and a significant
expansion that effectively doubled the gym's
footprint.
The updated facility now features a dedicated weights
area and a spin studio, designed with a contemporary
aesthetic that includes specialised LED lighting and a
sophisticated dark-material palette.
The renovation was meticulously coordinated to
enhance the overall user experience, modernise the
facility's offerings, and align with the client's broader
strategic goals aimed at improving community leisure
services.
