Bridge Referrals
Expansion Plans
CSG
Teesside
HL is excited to be working with a returning client,
Bridge Referrals. Following the successful
completion of their conversion of an industrial
building into a state-of-the-art veterinary referral
facility in Boldon. The new project will see them
expand their facilities further by taking over and
converting the unit next door.
HL is currently collaborating with Cleansing
Services Group to expand its existing site to
provide additional hazardous waste transfer and
treatment services.
This expansion will increase their current facilities
which already includes operating theatres, labs and
kennel areas as well as housing MRI and CT
machines amongst other specialist equipment.
Bridge referrals can deal all manner of procedures
from orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery,
neurosurgery, ophthalmology, oncology, internal
medicine and diagnostic imaging.
The original design plans submitted for approval
were initially rejected. However, we are pleased to
announce that these designs have now been
approved on appeal. The plans include a 24/7
operation capable of treating up to 22,000 tonnes
of hazardous waste. This facility will incorporate a
thermal combustion process specifically designed
for waste treatment, with the recovered waste heat
being converted into hot ambient air, steam, and
electricity for various applications.
